Gamergate, the GOAT harassment campaign, kicked off ten years ago to the day. “The Zoe Post” was published on August 16, 2014, an august date indeed for gamers everywhere. It is no joke to say that the modern “culture war” started in earnest on this day of infamy, although left-wing radicals had already been fully engaged in winning it for a while, and Gamergate was simply the moment that normal people noticed that they were at war.

Indeed, I had this exact realization myself. It is common for people to tell their “red pill stories,” and although I have told mine before, I’ve never spoken or written about my first real red pill, and I will tell that personal story now.
