In the Catholic view, love is “to will the good of the other for their own sake.” That means to want what’s best for someone else even when it doesn’t advantage you. In our cynical age no one ever acts in the interests of others
I completely agree. Positive vision, love of our people, love for what is righteous, and a never-ending passion to build for the glory of our God and/or our people are what will generate the cultural strength we need to survive this long winter. This is why I like the Go Free method approach paired with my personal approach of positive, educational/inspirational content, and it's why I encourage all "our guys" to get involved with local politics, local church, and local community. It's also why I tell our guys to not make politically loaded art (comics, music, etc) and just make good art, since the positivity and aesthetic our side generates are naturally what our people need.
The next OGC event has not been announced but our chapters are growing and starting to put together events of their own. Please send us an email with your general location and we will see what we can do to get you in touch with brothers nearby.
You have to love enough to be willing to do harm to that which would harm what you love.
