'Woke Right' simply means 'Racial Right'. It's another attempt to engage in Whiteshaming.

It’s also worth noting that the left, particularly black leftists, started using the word “woke” to describe themselves and their actions. So it made perfect sense to use it against them. It makes no sense to say “woke right” except as an insult.

A Great Sage of our age foretold long ago, that James Lindsay was a known homosexual.

I disavow this Great Sage. But This Sage was correct. James Lindsay is indeed a known homosexual. And should thus be referred to as Known Homosexual James Lindsay.

“Conservatism never conserves anything. Its history has been that it demurs to each aggression of the progressive party, and aims to save its credit by a respectable amount of growling, but always acquiesces at last in the innovation. What was the resisted novelty of yesterday is today one of the accepted principles of conservatism; it is now conservative only in affecting to resist the next innovation, which will tomorrow be forced upon its timidity and will be succeeded by some third revolution; to be denounced and then adopted in its turn.

American conservatism is merely the shadow that follows Radicalism as it moves forward towards perdition.

It remains behind it, but never retards it, and always advances near its leader. This pretended salt hath utterly lost its savor: wherewith shall it be salted? Its impotency is not hard, indeed, to explain. It is worthless because it is the conservatism of expediency only, and not of sturdy principle. It intends to risk nothing serious for the sake of the truth, and has no idea of being guilty of the folly of martyrdom. It always when about to enter a protest very blandly informs the wild beast whose path it essays to stop, that its 'bark is worse than its bite,' and that it only means to save its manners by enacting its decent role of resistance: The only practical purpose which it now subserves in American politics is to give enough exercise to Radicalism to keep it 'in wind,' and to prevent its becoming pursy and lazy, from having nothing to whip.”

I think the main purpose for this is to signal that you arent a threat to the government, you can be involved in organizations that receive public funds, and you absolutely do .

I don't think Lindsey actually fears any leftist backlash, brought about by the far right. I think he really just fears that the far right will win, will be the last ones standing after the dust settles in this power struggle.

In my view, the term "woke" sounds in cult language and thought. The attempt of some to smear anti-establishment and dissident thinkers by referring to them as the "woke right" fails miserably and misses the mark. The people tagged with this label in no way behave as the leftist cult of "woke" behaves. One cannot point to any example in the supposed "woke right" which mirrors the actual leftist "woke" who isolate their members and punish them for leaving or going "off script". Nor do the people and/or movements being erroneously labeled "woke right" lack tolerance for criticism, or forbid questions or critical inquiry, all of which the "woke" cult do. This is not going to stick because it doesn't resonate as true.

Maybe it appeals to a cohort that, to some degree, worships ideas like "democracy" and "rules based international order." Things midwits think they understand and think their understanding of makes them part of some elite club. Ultimately it comes down to a worship of the self: "If these ideas that I've so smugly repeated for decades aren't actually correct, suddenly I won't be so important any more."

I have been an admirer of yours since your dust up with the LCMS and miss your posts on YouTube.

I have been trying to establish contact with the Old Glory Club and Peter Q about finding a local chapter and sent an email last Friday to that end which I realize is not long ago. I have little earthly time left and am a total tech moron but I want to leave what I have to a just cause.

Is there a way that I might reach you by email, please?

Woke right is so profoundly clumsy and unhelpful... it makes other ideological word play look profound. Woke is simply progressivism and the inevitable end place of liberalism and its attempt to detach itself from tradition, culture, family, religion, ethnicity and yes even race. Once detached it floats inevitably to the self and self creation. Conservatism detached from tradition is just another of the doomed ships on the niagara river, floating inevitably to the same place, another branch of modernism, as are most if not all the well known ideaologies to emerge since the Enlightenment. Some have more or less grounding in actual people and tradition, and are thus more true or more useful. Woke right is about as useless as any of the slurs used to simply identify someone as the enemy.
