Strong agree. I wonder if there are any groups out there organizing to do some key election site monitoring to try to prevent voter fraud on the day of election. This would have to be backed up by some sort of legal training to ensure we don't get arrested over technicalities (like Mackey). I think just a few sets of eyes in places they don't expect might be enough to get a reluctant apparatchik or two to reconsider doing election shenanigans.

Your Local GOP will have poll watcher training, and I'm sure that there are other conservative groups doing similar things.

If you've got the time, being an elections judge or the equivalent ballot worker in your precinct is always worth the time to have direct oversight over any potential shenanigans. I did it for four years, it's not fun but it's important work.

The count is irrelevant when they can make up any number they want and sue you if you question the results. It’s finished dude. Reality pill. Manipulate the swing states and that’s all they need. Balkanization is the only current answer.

All they have to do is win DOWN BALLOT to take the house and Senate and Trump ends up hanging like Saddam on Pay Per View even if he Shuts out the competition in the Popular Vote and the Electoral College.

Great point and I am sure they will do that too

Very good to know. My local gop has a dreadful platform on their website which made me reluctant to reach out... But I'll suck it up and talk to them. Thank you.

Why would they want to give the illusion of closeness if they want to blow the heads off the right when they inevitably “lose” the election. Surely they want to trigger the right into a Jam 6th part deux asap after Kamala is sworn in. All they need is to manipulate the swing states and that’s it they’ve won. Simple. The republic is finished. Balkanization is the only answer at this point.

The last time the US went that route, the federal government forcibly maintained the union via the military. Irrespective on your personal opinions on the American Civil War, it set a precedent - with the raw viciousness and hatred that's flung in today's political rhetoric, balkanization is step one of Civil War 2.

"We have the majority of the guns" and "the military would NEVER shoot civilians" are baseless hopes for a good outcome should that be the path we go down.

At the very least Balkanize culturally. I’m surrounded by Mormons. Not my stock. But they have the right ideas about family and guns. They were also victimized by the US government so to some degree treat them with the utmost suspicion. But I get what you’re saying. Kamala will still win and we have no representation in government with the GOP. Just like my home country of the UK. No meaningful opposite and no opposition.

There was a novusordo conservative called zippy who did a good job with national elections, mass democracy I think he called it. He said that one of the great tricks of the devil was to get the average person who at any other time in history would have nothing to do with the activity of their government to sign off on those activities through the act of voting.

Not only is your vote mostly ineffective, you are actually putting your signature to the system and everything it does. It’s lose lose

I think getting directly involved is critical if you live in one of the likely-targeted swing-states. That's where the most tomfoolery is going to take place in order to swing the election one way or the other. Two or three poll watchers on the ground could make the difference for the whole country. That said, it also seems likely that even if Trump is by all metrics victorious they'll still find some sneaky way to state that the election wasn't ACTUALLY won by him for REASONS. That's what they did in 2016 after all, there's no reason to presume a more extreme version won't be applied again.

Regardless, we need reformation. If by next summer there is no significant reformation in the state of the United States government, I will be planning an exit. I hear There's no sense in going down with a ship that wants you dead to begin with. I do think we should all be tacitly considering what nations would be reasonable to exit TO if the United States sinks much closer to failed-state status.

Glad to see the reasoned and measured call to action by The Prudentialist. I know what Yarvin tells us about political involvement and maybe he's right, but I have always chosen to act as though he is wrong. I would like to encourage you all to do the same.
