The creedal nation idea is among the dumbest that Con Inc has come up with. Every nation has their own sets of beliefs and expressions about how they perceive the world, but obviously these guys won’t apply that to Germans, Japanese, or Nigerians saying if you accept their creeds you can easily become one. The fact that we see when they immigrate to countries like the United States and still maintain their way of thinking and pass it down to the children for many generations should give pause to the idea that simply changing one’s beliefs and culture is as straightforward as Joel wants us to think and instead recognize that maybe there is a giant component of your heritage influencing the way you see the world.

Sadly for the Germans, I think they were selected long ago for “propositional nation” status, so you can remove Germany from that list.

Only to a certain extent. If a white person of distinctly non-german ancestry (say, an Irish-American, or even just an Irishman for that matter) married to a woman of the same were to move to Germany, no native German would simply accept their children as being “just as German as everyone else” no matter what lengths they went to to assimilate. The mental gymnastics leftists have trained people to exercise in that regard (muh “creedal nation”) are applied exclusively in regard to non-white foreigners being imported en masse, not across the board. Europeans still tacitly think this way, even if their mental guardrails against racism prevent them from ever making the notion explicit in their mind.

Only us Americans (and other Anglo countries to the extent that it’s rubbed off on them) have truly bought into this concept of race-denying propositional nationhood.

I find it ironic that Joel's long tweet not only does not refute what Auron says in the video but confirms all of it.

My house cleaner got her citizenship two weeks ago and joked that her eyes were become blue. EVERYONE knows what an American is.

Also, muh Imago Dei lol. People like Joel make me embarrassed to be Christian, especially if Christianity means infinity crypto pagan Catholics from the global south living in my town. They're eating the pets, Joel.

Joel Berry is a subversive agent, along with Seth Dillon.

They swooped out of nowhere with tons of cash buying out the Babylon Bee then started pushing Zionist/anti-White propaganda to subvert the Christian right.

I always wonder why the “Creedull” Nation people don’t ever advocate for stripping citizenship from people who don’t abide by the creed. If America is a Creedull Nation, this creed must be written and enforced by stripping of citizenship and prosecuting as traitors those who advocate against it.

So Joel, when will the imprisonment of Portland Communists going to begin?

When are you going to call for the expulsion and treason trials for elected officials who violate this creed?

The “Creedull Nation” hypothesis is just a means to say words that sound like nationalism without doing anything to establish, protect and defend said nation.

If you ask Berry about this "creed" he believes all Americans should ascribe to, he would probably include the constitution and the bill of rights, but you can't have a country based on ideas and one of those ideas being you can believe and propagate for whatever idea you want.

It's self defeating, if you believe that, you can't tell me to stop arguing against the first amendment.

Well theoretically we could deport or imprison anyone who failed to pass some kind of measurable standard of civic virtue, but Joel doesn't support that either. He calls for vague moral abstractions to evasively cover for the dysfunctional and corrupt status quo which Joel may dislike, but he finds more comfortable than any kind of real solution.

Calling a nation creedal is blasphemy from a Christian perspective. Nations are of the world.

The only creedal nation - the true Israel - is comprised of the followers of Jesus Christ. This is totally standard Christianity. I hear it every Sunday at mass.

Americans who think otherwise and call themselves Christian are in grave error. Your taxes are rendered to Caesar; your faith to the Lord God.

I would say we could be a Christian nation like we were 200 years ago.

I'd say we still are.

I keep forgetting I'm getting old and a lot of people here may not be familiar with what I'm getting at.

The "creedal nation" idea was cooked up by neocons and the like to *replace* our idea of ourselves as a distinct people with our own values, which include Christianity.

I wrote about it yesterday:

It was a matter of time from the Trump victory for these imbeciles to crawl out and resume their campaign of punching right. They seek another Bush administration, and another ostracization of people like Buchanan.

Fortunately, we have much more influence than before. Their tactics are waning.

It is precisely because anyone, theoretically, can become a member of a "credal" nation, that he argues for it and pretends America is nothing more.

Berry and many others wield their Christianity as a sword against European peoples with such ease that you’d easily assume it was made for that purpose.

I'm not really well-read enough to understand everything being discussed, but I have noticed a distinct rise in division on the right since the election, and just wanted to ask if everyone can please get it together and focus on the work at hand? We ladies who know what time it is are counting on you bright, young men now more than ever. We will continue to support in every way possible, including continuously keeping you men and leaders in our prayers.

Honest people are limited by what they can picture/imagine . People can picture whites kicking out non-whites from their countries. People can picture Jim Crow and apartheid. That is what they picture when they hear national race and ethnicity. People can also picture the colorblind Star Trek Utopia. What future do we want so honest people can picture it and help us move forward?
