I strongly agree that there needs to be a serious crackdown against Antifa. Their so-called "ideas" have been going mainstream in the institutions for a while now. As the dedicated Andy Ngo said recently....

"since 2015 the liberal media establishment started parroting Antifa’s talking points about Trump’s being a fascist. They’ve moved on now to say that he’s an existential threat to democracy and our rights…. The violence exists in this context where supporters of Donald Trump and America have been attacked since 2016 by people who declare themselves to be Antifa…. these are people who are the literal threats to the democratic process. They want to make people in the public feel afraid to engage in these activities.”

It's how they move the Overton Window to the left, by calling a 90's Democrat like Trump the farthest thing right as they can think of (fascist), so anything further right seems unfathomable.

Where pretty much the entire 1920's America populace would be called a "fascist" by today's media standards.

When he got up and pumped his fist, despite the increased risk to himself it undeniably demonstrated that he does not give a fuck, he is in this fight till the death. It's been clear that he truly cares and is not in it for material profit, since at any point he could have retired in wealth and luxury, but to see it on display so viscerally was the most inspiring moment in US politics of my lifetime.

I seem to recall a certain Bay Area NRX blogger saying that if McCarthy had cleared the state department of all its communist subversives that would still not be enough. In fact, I remember this being the entire reason why parallel institutions were necessary rather than a single populist leader. Are elite theorists pro democracy again?

It's not a binary, develop and participate in parallel institutions, and if we can gain ground in the mainstream democratic political process, that is good, too.

So yes, the DR forgot anything Curtis Yarvin ever wrote and just are pro democracy when it’s a candidate they like. Even if they’re a 90s liberal.

Not everyone is a Yarvin sycophant.

Sticking to convictions the DR stated not long ago isn’t being a Yarvin sycophant but actually internalizing the ideas we’re talking about, instead of chasing the ball whenever the regime wants you to. People have written entire books critiquing populism but instead we’re back to calling Trump god emperor

I certainly hope not. Democracy as a system is still far too popular with the people coming into power, like JD Vance. A step in the right direction, as Kingpilled points out, but not anywhere near where we need to be.

I do hate Journalists, but as a finite being, I cannot hate them to the appropriate levels.

(metaphysics/sperg-level version of the Auron Quote)

Shame, shame, shame on them!

They caused this violence against Trump and are responsible for the death of fireman Corey Comperatore.

They don't just hate Trump but the people he represents, ordinary middle Americans, white people, all those who are just lumped together as white supremacists and all that bullshit.

Journalists should be ashamed and it is not an honourable profession to be a Journalist.

You have lost the respect of everyone, and should at best just quit.

If you think Journalism is important, then just quit and hope a better next generation will work very very hard to reestablish trust again, but you are just done with the pontification, while wishing harm on people with different political opinions.

Just quit, no harm will come to you, just do not continue, same deal as with the East German Stasi, just stop.

Shame!
